I got some motivation to sew tonight! Weird, I was DRAGGING at work and now all that caffeine has kicked in along with inspiration!
Working on finishing the main edges to the Narnia gown “breastplate” corset. Not sure if I am attaching it to the gown or not, and also unsure if it will even *fit* me all the way around- I originally cut the thing nearly 5 years ago and my bust measurements have changed, plus I have NO idea what kind of undergarments I am wearing under the dress itself so until I know that… the corset will remain unattached.
Pics to come soon… Once I get paid, I’m getting more hair for the headpiece. 3 packages of hair just won’t be enough to cut it.
I like my job OK, but the mandatory weekend kicked my ass. Still, I have 11 hours of OT and 8 hours of double-time. Even the job has its own inspirational sources. It was suggested that the dress could be repurposed and I could make a different headpiece and go as Medusa another year. Sounds like an idea for 2012.
Question is… what tasteless idea should I use for a purse?
